PHILADELPHIA, PA – Laffey Bucci D’Andrea Reich & Ryan is pleased to announce that the Honorable Geoffrey W. Dlin (Ret.) has joined the firm as a partner and will lead its newly established Workers’ Compensation practice.
The launch marks the first time the firm will offer dedicated Workers’ Compensation representation. The new practice will allow injured workers to receive coordinated legal counsel for both their Workers’ Compensation claims and any related third-party personal injury claims that may arise from the same incident.

Geoffrey Dlin Brings Decades of Experience in Workers’ Compensation Law
During his 15 years as a Pennsylvania Workers’ Compensation Judge, Dlin decided thousands of contested cases and regularly taught attorneys, judges and private organizations about Workers’ Compensation law. While serving on the bench, Dlin also developed a statewide mediation practice and became highly regarded for his ability to resolve complex disputes. Before becoming a Judge, he represented injured workers and individuals harmed by negligence or dangerous products. He has also represented employers and insurance companies, giving him a broad understanding of how Workers’ Compensation and personal injury matters are evaluated and defended.

Dlin was among the first group to become Certified as a specialist in the practice of Workers’ Compensation law by the Pennsylvania Bar Association Workers’ Compensation Law Section as authorized by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court.
Geoffrey Dlin earned his law degree from The Dickinson School of Law and his bachelor’s degree from Vanderbilt University. He has taught numerous Workers’ Compensation programs for the Pennsylvania Bar Institute and other legal organizations.
