A school bus aide in Bensalem, Bucks County, has been arrested after police said surveillance video showed him inappropriately touching a 14-year-old student with special needs while she was being transported to a summer school program at Bensalem High School.
According to the Bensalem Township Police Department, the student’s parents contacted authorities on July 30, 2026, regarding an incident involving their daughter and a school bus aide. Police identified the aide as 62-year-old Ali Khan of Bensalem Township. Investigators allege that Khan touched the student inappropriately on July 29 and July 30 while she was traveling to Bensalem High School’s extended school year program.
Police said surveillance footage from inside the bus showed Khan directing the student to sit in a particular seat. While securing her seatbelt, he allegedly draped his body across her and touched her inappropriately for an extended period. Investigators also said Khan appeared to be using a cellphone to record videos and take photographs of the student.
Khan was charged with:
- Endangering the welfare of a child
- Corruption of minors
- Two counts of indecent assault
Police said he was arraigned and sent to the Bucks County Correctional Facility. The investigation remains ongoing.
